The Congressional District 14 boundaries used for the June 16, 2026 Special Primary Election are different from the boundaries being used for the June 2, 2026 Direct Primary Election.
The June 2 Election is being conducted using the newly redrawn congressional district boundaries that took effect following the passage of Proposition 50. However, the June 16 Special Election to fill the remainder of the vacant term must be conducted using the former 14th Congressional District boundaries that were in place at the time the term began.
As a result, some voters may notice that their congressional district for the Special Election differs from the district used during the June 2 Primary Election.
The accompanying images show the areas impacted by these boundary changes, along with voter materials to better educate voters.
Voters in the highlighted red area will receive a ballot for the Congressional District 14 June 16 Special Primary Election. However, on their June 2 Primary Election Ballot, they are eligible to vote for the new redistricted Congressional District 10. Click the image to view a larger image.
